2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
The contact and briefing-request form requests:
- Full name
- Company or organization name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Inquiry type (Discuss Site Requirements, Sales, Technical Support, or General Inquiries)
- Message or mission-requirements text you choose to include
The Site uses Google Apps Script to process form submissions. Information submitted through the form may be processed and stored by Google and reviewed by authorized PWI personnel. Google’s handling of personal information is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
The Site is not intended to collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, classified information, controlled unclassified information (CUI), or export-controlled technical data. Do not submit any such information through the form.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider may automatically collect:
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL
- Approximate geographic region derived from an IP address
This information is collected through Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC. Google states that Analytics uses an IP address at collection to derive approximate location information and discards the IP address before logging that data. Site hosting and content-delivery providers may process IP addresses and routine server-log information as necessary to deliver, secure, and maintain the Site. Google's data processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
2.3 Cookies
The Site currently loads Google Analytics and may set nonessential analytics cookies. The contact and informational functions of the Site do not require analytics cookies.
2.4 Browser Privacy Signals and Third-Party Tracking
The Site does not currently respond to the legacy “Do Not Track” browser setting, and a Global Privacy Control signal does not currently disable Google Analytics. Google Analytics is the only intentional third-party analytics service identified in the current Site code.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through the form is used to:
- Respond to your inquiry, briefing request, or sales question
- Route your inquiry to the appropriate internal team (e.g., Sales, Technical Support, General Inquiries)
- Send follow-up communications directly related to your stated request
- Maintain internal records of business communications
- Comply with applicable laws and export regulations
- Improve the Site's content and usability through aggregated analytics
We do not use information collected through the Site for automated profiling or behavioral advertising.
4. How We Share Your Information
The current Site implementation uses the service providers and data flows identified below:
- Within PWI, Inc.: Your inquiry may be shared with relevant personnel at PWI, Inc. or authorized PGISR sales representatives to fulfill your request.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and usage. Google may receive device, browser, network, and interaction data as described in Section 2.2.
- Google Apps Script: We use Google Apps Script to receive inquiries. Google may process and store the information entered so PWI can review and respond to the inquiry.
- Hosting and content-delivery providers: Providers that host or deliver the Site may process routine connection, security, and server-log information needed to operate and protect it.
- Business email providers: Providers supporting PWI's business email may process and store contact-form submissions and related correspondence so that we can respond to your inquiry.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, including in connection with export control enforcement by the US Department of State (Directorate of Defense Trade Controls) or Department of Commerce.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.
5. Export Control Notice
PWI products, technical data, activities, or inquiries may be subject to the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or other applicable US export-control laws. Do not submit technical data, specifications, drawings, or other information subject to export controls through this website.
6. Data Retention
Inquiry and contact records may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Certain covered export transactions may carry five-year recordkeeping requirements; that statement does not mean every website inquiry must be kept for five years.
7. Data Security
Contact-form submissions are transmitted through Google Apps Script. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of analytics tracking (by disabling cookies in your browser or using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on)
To exercise any applicable right, contact us at privacy@pgisr.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Requests will be handled within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. California Residents
If the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, applies to PWI, California residents may have additional rights.
10. Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for business and government professionals and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
